APS Healthcare is a managed behavioral health organization (MBHO) with 19 years of experience delivering recovery-oriented services for Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial plans. We began offering comprehensive behavioral health services in 1999, organized through our innovative network of providers, which currently delivers services to 1.3 million lives in 16 proprietary community-based clinics, collocating providers in integrated health centers, contracted hospitals, and an independent network of more than 1,000 behavioral health professionals.
To ensure the well-being of our patients, we have established a total care management system composed of specialized call centers for providers, pharmacy, quality and case management; as well as a network of 16 multidisciplinary clinics known as "APS Clinics". In addition, we have a proprietary electronic medical record system, which provides a virtual communication platform between our specialists, satisfying the service needs of our clients in Puerto Rico and the United States.
