APS Healthcare Puerto Rico is a managed behavioral health organization (MBHO) with 19 years of experience delivering recovery-oriented services for Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial plans. We began offering comprehensive behavioral health services in 1999, organized through our innovative network of providers, which currently delivers services to 1.3 million lives in 16 proprietary community-based clinics, collocating providers in integrated health centers, contracted hospitals, and an independent network of more than 1,000 behavioral health professionals.

To ensure the well-being of our patients, we have established a total care management system composed of specialized call centers for providers, pharmacy, quality and case management; as well as a network of 16 multidisciplinary clinics known as "APS Clinics". In addition, we have a proprietary electronic medical record system, which provides a virtual communication platform between our specialists, satisfying the service needs of our clients in Puerto Rico and the United States.

As a leader in the establishment of integrated medical and behavioral health, APS Healthcare offers the services of a comprehensive behavioral health organization with a deep understanding of the complex interactions of physical health and mental illness. For adults, adolescents and children with mental behavioral health and/or addiction disorders, our experienced staff offers a variety of healthcare modalities to address individual needs. Our services include:

APS Healthcare has a complete multidisciplinary team including: adult psychiatrists, child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychologists, social workers, registered nurses, substance and abuse counselors and general physicians with expertise in the management of physical, mental health and substance abuse conditions.
